[@SgtEasy] For the sake of clarity, it would really help if you specified which character you meant by "[i]that[/i] girl," as there are quite a few of them in the classroom. :P  In my opinion, the best way would be to put the name of the character in parenthesis, like "[i]that[/i] girl." (Layla).  It would just help us all know which character you're talking about in your post is all. :D
