Oriana sat there just as she watched her friend getting up and headed over towards the Sorting Hat and then a few seconds later it finally yelled out the house Slytherin. Three more first years went up each going to Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw then Oriana was finally called up, closing her eyes Oriana tried to take in a deep breath to calm herself down. Oriana approached the woman who was holding the hat, the young woman smiled softly and nodded before taking a seat.

A few moments later as the hat started to read through Oriana's mind then it finally yelled out "SLYTHERIN!", cheers went out and she quickly went over to sit down next to Laurentia glad to be in the same house as her.

Andromeda looked over towards Alicia and smiled, she would have really wanted Laurentia in her house, though unfortunately it was out of her reach, she would have to just be content with teaching her in her Charms class. Raising a drink to her fellow teacher and watched as the other first years were sorted into their houses before the great feast.[@Arista]
