In case anyone's interested, I took the base value of 50 and added a rolled amount of D100/2 to the score to determine synchro. Add these scroes to your sheets under a new bullet point titled [b]Synchro Rate[/b]. Alexei got lucky, and has unlocked his Special Ability. Alexei, Lora and Elora will hear incoherent, barely audible sounds while piloting.
