Adrian had begun gripping his arm tightly to stop himself from shaking, once the door closed he sighed at the slight relief of the noise, then he remembered how it was being made and he felt terrible inside again. Adrian was snapped away from his self lament when the girl standing in front of him made a statement that caught him off guard. Protection? Could Adrian even protect himself? he wasn't so sure... "Uhm..I..." he turned over the plea in his mind, it made sense he supposed, to look for protection...but why him? he was probably one of the least likely here to put up a good fight... but that wasn't an excuse "A...Alright...B-but I can only p-promise to t-t-try...I'm n-not exactly Hercules..." The boy didn't seem to register the girls offer for a short while, he "looked" down once he guessed at what she was thinking about. "U-Um..i-in return..." he paused, the screaming was still driving him insane "H-how about...you tell me your n-name in return..." He still hadn't placed his eyes anywhere else, he was trying hard to focus on anything other then the eternal suffering that echoed from that horrid television. "I-I don't think y-you have an-anything else I w-would ask for..." he had lowered his voice even more then usual, even without the yelling one might not be able to hear him anymore, this place was worse then he thought, or perhaps...perhaps it was outside these walls that was worse then his expectations. Did they have anywhere to run to?
