You should definately join up with us, it's really great fun. We're a friendly bunch so no worries there ;)
I suggest you should start with the character sheet. There is plenty of room in the cast and the GM isn't planning to close applications ever so there's that. Also there are a couple of players who have either made a character and never showed again or made a character and haven't posted a first IC post yet. So we're not that far ahead.

If you'd like to work on some kind of pre established relationship with any of the characters (including my own) let us know and we can work something out :)
