I'd send a CS over to Suspect via PM. Or part of one, if you'd prefer not to have done all the work for it not to be open.

Worst case scenario, she might just have to contact you later, in case someone drops. Best case is that spot is open and you got it. Regardless, the part might be there for you now or in the long run. :)
