"Sana. Sana." Deila knew this would be a long road until meaningful communication between the group and herself would be possible. Nevertheless the first steps were taken and she was more the eager to learn how to communicate with her new found pack. Deila started to move her lips as she silently repeated the words committing them to memory. While she was lead out of the ground, she did her best not to think about it. She kept her eyes down only occasionally glancing at the two persons whose names she recently learned. She started wondering which persons title she would learn next and then as more words came more ideas could be shared. Perhaps the smaller fellow who wore lizard looking hide. He/it was such a fascinating creature. Deila had a gift that others also received. She looked at it curiously. It was metal and had a green stone in the center of the design. She wasn't fond of metal. Grandma would say, "That metal is a good element but it makes one weak. Look at the turtle, using all its strength for only one purpose. Protected by the shell it wears but unable to fly." Deila put the gift in a pouch. She would keep it in remembrance of this meeting. Deila was glad to be moving away from this unnatural place. The cage was bad enough.
