"I'm scared, Momma. This wasnt supposed to happen like this, not now." Callan said wiping at her tears. 

Cadence wanted to make a comment about Callan's actions causing this but he wasn't going to. "Cal, it's going to be fine. If anyone knows how you are feeling it's your mother." He said softly as he took up a seat across from Asteria and Callan.

"And I don't know where I'm going to live... Ten's gone. I want to be with Carver and go through this with him, but I don't know how to get back to Seven. But I don't want to leave Silver or you..."

Zale took Silver's hand, "Silver, hey listen. The chances of Callan going back in there are very slim. And she's a smart girl... I know I watched both of you. If she had to go back she'd be the victor again. I don't doubt that for a second. And if you went in there they surely wouldn't let the both of you come out alive again. She'd be more wrecked if you went in with her and she lost you." He said rubbing his thumb over her hand.
