Hugh let his tension go as he felt Sana's hand touch his shoulder. "Understood." He said, relaxing from her touch. He shook off his worry. The horse was all he carried with him from the old barbarian tribe. It was a reminder of his old home. Not only had he raised the horse as part of the barbarian tribe, but the horse had also been born from one of the stable horses of the old paladin order. Rodger was a relic and a refugee, like Hugh. Hugh brought himself back into the conversation, comforting himself with the thought that his horse was alright and remained where they had left him. He remembered how loyal his horse could be and how the horse would often wait on his return. "Destroy it. Gold or no gold, it's a danger to the rest of the world. Mages have always been known to meddle in things that could cost the lives of the rest of us. Screw them." He said, chiming in. They could go ahead and destroy the chalice, losing the thousand gold pieces. He disliked those who tried to learn more at the expense of others and that was how he viewed mages. Too intelligent for their own good. "it's rather unfortunate, but it's necessary." He said, thinking of what he would lose. It was a big reward and nonetheless risky to give up the chalice that housed the lich. What would mages want with a lich's power? What else other than to seek immortality? Ellyn brought up an interesting thought of how the lich might have been the mage who had given them the quest. That could be rebuked by the fact that he had promised to give them money to find the chalice. "I wouldn't think so, Ellyn. The man was intent on paying us. Why would he want us to find a chalice that he could claim for himself and pay us for it?" He struck the question, crossing his arms and leaning back on his heels.
