I'll think up something for the actual plot of the roleplay while the war is going on. Like I said in a previous post, the war is in the background for the most part and likely will only be brought up in passing. I was thinking that the group of characters involved will uncover a conspiracy dating all the way back to when more advanced technology started being made, which, since we're adding other planets and aliens into the mix, might have to do with first contact with another species. If we go this route, it'll have a somewhat happy ending. With a war going on and the truth to a centuries old mystery being uncovered, the Empire might be forced to give up the war as not to cause an all-out revolution (everyone against them) or they might be forced to give their people more freedom. Kinda bare bones, but any thoughts?
