It was due to financial crises that Maiko's family decided to drop her our of her rich fancy school to attend a normal one. But with that idea, she was so pleased. 

Despite the upper class environment that she was raised in, Nakamura believed that owning a more simpler life would give more meaning to her youthful years. Her mother and father were too busy with their vast occupations to even take heed of their daughter much that the only person she can rely on inside her house was her older brother. Though already grown up and working alongside their parents, he was the one who mostly took care of her that even he had associated himself as her guardian. He cared for her, and so did she.
With loud music always booming in her ears, it came to her that living in more colorful surroundings was what she always wanted to do, feel and experience, which is why she had decided upon picking Music and Art.

Maiko has not really decided on her dream ambition just as yet- either it wasn't all too necessary to think about it because she knows that she'll be working with her parents and brother one day so it's already given or she's just that clueless and would just go with the flow [s](cause she's hella rich)[/s] 

Despite her cold kuudere appearance, Maiko is warm hearted but not too easy to approach. Very silent at most occasions, but tend to speak up when gotten closer to. 
Easy to identify with her long black hair.
Likes to move around a lot and assumes to have a hidden talent in physical education.
