The storm had really picked up, randomly bursting into waves of heavy rain, then wet wind, then rain again. The fires were basically out and the sky had clouded darkly. Oh when would it finally be night? Mithias had wisely retreated when he saw Kami dive his blades into the ground. He stood ready, just far enough not to get his head blown off by some bomb. Hank screamed as Magnus gave his best attempt at 'mercy.' The armor clattered to the ground, its holiness repelling even Mithias at this distance, and the steam blew off to reveal the monster Kami had been all along. Mithias blinked in astonishment. "You're a vampire?" But what shocked him more than anything was the severity of Kami's torment. His suffering and hunger were immense, destroying any semblence of a person and consuming him into a nameless, mindless entity. He was, as Magnus had said, less human than any of them, and the fact that none if it had killed him thus far... he must have been insanely powerful. Mithias cringed at the buring iron cross on Kami's chest, the sick, pulsing veins. Even blood starved, Kami was healing through it constantly. Who had made this monster? How could he have come to be?? Moreover, was there any way to put him out of his misery? The sledgehammer crumpled with ease, and Mithias knew right away he had nowhere near this creature's strength. Something akin to a sixth sense showed him that Kami was about to rip off Hale's lower jaw only seconds prior. Mithias quickly called for assistence with an undeniable degree of urgency to his voice. "Magnus?!!" Hank would have to wait as he was definitely not the most immediate priority. Supreme strength was a gift up Magnus' ally, and it was going to be needed. The thought to flee crossed Mithias' mind, but this wasn't a fight any one of them could win alone anymore. This was going to take all they had, now or never. The blood of a knight roared through the vampire's veins, and he braced himself bravely. "GET OUT OF HERE HANK!" He called out, not knowing any way to assure the young vampire's survival. Knowing Kami's blades were probably boobytrapped, Mithias tried to attack with his own. They should have been able to cut any vampire's flesh. He wanted to free Hale, but even still, cutting into a tormented animal seemed wrong. The scarred, bleeding and pained pale flesh tugged at his sense of mercy. He took a slash at Kami's arm.
