Two of Ebon's R-Types got blown away by the explosion, one from Squad 1 and one from Squad 2. He wasn't too perturbed and considered it a success that the rest managed to get out unscathed. Gren closed the distance startlingly fast for someone his size but Ebon was ready for it. When Gren's weapon hit Ebon's shield he swung it to the side to parry Gren. Then, gripping one of the extra handles behind The Kingdom, Ebon slammed the corner of the shield right at Gren.

Mean while the R-types rallied together to maximize their firing power. Squad 3 split to replace the R-types lost from Squad 1 and 2 and continued to do their original purpose. Squad 1 flew in perpendicular of Ebon to bombard Gren with bullets. Squad 2 was starting to climb high into the air. When they would start to decent, they'd charge their shot so they could dive bomb Gren.
