Spinel raised an eyebrow at this situation.  One of the humans looked like he'd just been beaten up, and did she hear one of them say that the other had been looking for them?  These two had 'iffy' written all over them, and she was fairly certain that she couldn't offer them any help they might need.  She didn't have healing abilities like Aquamarine did, after all. 

 Speaking of Aquamarine, she had said that Spinel's suspicion that some of the townspeople might know that gems had caused this wasn't completely unfounded.  Spinel was sure that [i]she[/i] wouldn't be too happy to see gems if she was in their position, and she had evidence enough to believe that they might be violent.  She opened her mouth to raise this concern to her allies, but it quickly hit her that that would probably be a bad idea.  Instead she curtly said "Hmmm.  Nope, I'm out." and began to walk away.
