Name Mercutio Peruna Aliases The Host of Sin / The Beast Emerging Gender Male Race Human Appearance

A relatively short boy who stands at 5'3 and looks young enough to be the younger obnoxious brother of any normal family. His eyes are a shade of green that looks like your lost inside a forest if you stare in them for too long. However, Mercutio is not the normal brother that anyone would like to have, as he wears strange dark robes that covers most of his body and a hood that remains down revealing his abnormal white hair and relatively pale young face. Having a naive look of curiosity on all times on his face, always seeking out answers to questions inside his head that he asks which seems to be near endless. His body underneath his robes has a pale and lithe build with slightly muscular features that are from walking around all the time. Always with him is a dark book, which he keeps and records anything of interest and it basically serves Mercutio as a diary to record his findings. While his naive and young face may be disarming, a strange and creepy sensation radiates off him as you see him like if something is around him. Backstory Mercutio was never meant to be, he was never meant to live, he was only suppose to be a human sacrifice by a family of Occultist who were planning for something big. However, Mercutio during the ritual was touched by something before everyone inside the house died as the building came down upon them. The blurry images are still present in his own mind as he remembered back then. After the accident he was rescued and adopted by other humans who were now his new family. His time with his new family was normal and he lived as a normal child who learned and played with the other kids and for a time was happy. However, his roots back to being from an Occult family soon surfaced as he discovered he could summon an Demon to his aid. He kept this to himself hiding it from his family members, but in secrecy he practiced and learned that if he focused hard enough he could hear whispers in the corners of his mind. Listening to the voices he followed their instructions and slowly began rolling down the path of practicing Occult Magic. The years past on as Mercutio grew to use his Occult magic with more proficiency, learning the ins and out of the taboo magic. He managed to harvest souls for his own purpose and experiment with necromancy for a short time but gave it up. Focusing on Conjuration of a single demon that was bounded to him since the beginning of his birth. Receiving a painful yet shocking vision a humanoid creature that surrounded his tiny form as a baby during the night of the ritual where he was being tributed. Unsure if he should trust the vision he researched and listen before confirming that the demon itself was bound to his own life force and if he had died it would die as well. How the powerful demon was bound to Mercutio, he himself wasn't sure but it would explain why his previous attempts of conjuration failed. The demon bounded to him mysteriously labeled itself as Fenox, and it was tasked of basically protecting Mercutio at all cost. So doing its job, the demon was warding away attempts of any demons approaching him, making his attempts of summoning any demon fail due them being scared off. Deciding that staying inside of a large town would be bad if he conducted any larger experiments he would need to go out farther to avoid suspicion. He said farewell to his adopted family before leaving them to head out to the country to continue his occult studies. Weapons Mercutio carries no visible weapon on him or in secrecy being a mage without any weapon handling experience How did you find out about the tower I waited and listened to the Abyss, and the Abyss whispered to me where it was. With the guidance of the Abyss, my own curiosity led me on a journey to the place that was shown to me to find what is hidden there. Personality Mercutio is a curious soul who likes to investigate things that he find mysterious and likes to uncover lost history and record it. His curious nature makes him often keep to himself as he is always occupied inside his mind asking questions and observing things making him very quiet. When he talks to people he is often asking questions about them and why they do certain things that they do. His observant nature makes him creepily knowledgeable about his teammates and does not mind speaking of what he knows about them. If asked how he knows, he will simply just mumble to himself and walk away nonchalantly to do something more interesting. Magic School and Skill
Mercutio is specialized in Occult magic and is a powerful summoner of a specific demonic servant named Fenox which its task is to protect him at all cost and listen to his every orders. The demon Fenox is a powerful demon but at the same time it repels other demons from being summoned by Mercutio and has to consume souls to recover faster along with increase in power with the amount of souls it consumes. The demon itself is attached to Mercutio when summoned and is a very flexible demon depending on which form it is in. Since Mercutio has no other demons, Fenox is his only demon he can summon and his skills in Necromancy are decent but nothing impressive as he dedicates most of his souls to increasing Fenox's strength. The abilities that Fenox has varies in which forms he takes but in general his basic form has above average physical prowess being able to challenge two soldiers at once with little difficulty and snap a simple sword easily. His defensive abilities in this form are decent as the demon can take hits for Mercutio and can create a weak magical shield to defend against both melee and ranged attacks or harden its skin to defend as well or hit harder for a short time. Fenox's misty figure in this form is swirled around Mercutio and so it can extend its form to attack at all ranges. In its second and more defensive form, Fenox turns itself into a rib-cage like shield covered in a purple energy that solidifies with the rib-cage and protects Mercutio from all horizontal and partially from above attacks from all sides with a opening in the front for Mercutio to see. The rib-cage and energy that surrounds it destroys all basic level magic applied to it or hits it basically giving it immunity to weak magic and resistance to stronger spells. In this form, all attacks from Fenox are severely limited and delayed as the demon has to create a skeletal arm to attack first and only has the use of that one arm only. While he has to create his arm, the arm can be created to be set in a gripping position to grab a opponent instantaneous if they are standing still for too long and vice versa. All in all, Fenox turns stationary demon but in this form allows it to reach farther in its previous form as its skeletal arm can reach farther but is slower and he has to predict his opponents moves more. The third and hardest form of Fenox to bring out is the near-full body form in which Fenox in its Rib-cage stage transforms into a skeletal torso and head with two skeletal arms to attack with. In this form it transforms the defensive and offensive properties of the two forms into a single one with solid defense while having a solid attack. This form is the creepiest and strongest of Fenox's ability allowing it to attack at any range with a variation of attack of sweeps, smashes, crushing or even flicking. The strength of the first form and sturdiness of the second form combined allows this form's attack to hit hard and take hits with no care for the mean time. The energy and bones in this form is so eerie and strange that it destroys the intermediate level of magics that is applied to it or hits it, basically having a immunity to normal powered spells and resistance to stronger ones. However, the third form of Fenox is has limited use and can only be used for 3-4 posts before reverting to either of the two basic forms and can be only used once every fight. If any significant part of Fenox is damaged or destroyed then there will be a time for the demon to recover naturally or if fed souls it will recover near instantaneously but will not gain the strength when it normally consumes souls. If battle happens too soon and Fenox isn't able to recover it comes onto battle with its injuries and if it is slain in battle then Mercutio's demon wont be in the remainder of this battle or the next one depending on the time. Souls cant be consumed when Fenox is slain and has to recover naturally to fully be able to be resummoned without any issues.

Name Korthul Narzuun Aliases The Red Executioner Gender Male Race Half-Orc Appearance

Korthul is a middle aged orc who has a muscular build inside his crimson red armor that protects him from a variety of attacks in battle. He reaches up to 6'4 in height and weighs around 217 pounds which means he easily towers over most other races making him a very intimidating person to come up to. His build is fairly muscular due to his constant place in battle and moving around from place to place as a mercenary who is seeking work everywhere. His face is the only part of him that is revealed most of the time and he strangely has ginger hair styled quite nicely and has a blue-ish grey tinted skin color. The rest of his body however is adorned with plate mail that protects him from head to toes with gauntlets and leggings, while he only wears his helmet during battle. His plate mail is his known feature for its crimson color that catches the eye of everyone who sees him whether its bad or good. While he is an Orc he isn't afraid of showing it and he is sure that people would avoid his intimidating presence and if not he is sure he can fight them off. With his armor all on he could even pass as a bulky human as he holds a relatively well-kept appearance keeping everything he owns clean as possible. He is always making sure to be taking care of his armor and Axe, repairing them if it is needed for them to be in the very best state that they can be in. Backstory Korthul was born into the world as split between an Orc and a Human, which would of been a confusing relationship. He was born and raised in the company of humans and the occasional elf but other half-orcs were rare for him to talk with. So growing up he spent most of his time alone and reading surprisingly keeping to himself as the other children were scared of befriending the 'strange boy'. During his time growing up he was involved with several incidents of racism and he learned how to defend himself and more or less. He basically told everyone to not to fuck around with him anymore thanks to his natural strength as an orc which made him scary to fight against. Thanks to his strength he started off getting a job as a lumber gather, chopping trees down easily with his strength and harvested wood easily. Noticing his strength one day, a wounded solider appeared in his villaged and convinced him to be trained. Teaching him to use the Axe properly in battle before asking him a favor to kill a beast nearby. During this time, Korthul's magical abilities were released shocking the soilder that this Orc had potential as a mage. In shock, he kept the new discovery to himself and as a thanks for training him Korthul did the task and slayed the beast easily thanks to his overwhelming strength, ending the beast's life. As payment for his task, the solider gave his own Ax to Korthul as a gift before dying from his wounds. Deciding to leave his village and use his skills he in the next several years got better and became more well known for his services that came with the price. Slaying beasts and recovering things for his client he made money doing the dirty work that they didn't want to do. With this he was equipping himself better and becoming more skilled in his job, he eventually recruited a team which help him take bigger jobs and basically split the paycheck. Over these years, he honed his magical abilities to suit his needs as a Mercenary and help him basically survive during these missions that he takes and day-to-day life. Weapons Korthul has a axe made for him by a blacksmith that he uses as his primary weapon which he holds with two hands and can swing relatively easy with his strength. How did you find out about the tower? Korthul was invited to the tower by Prince Seadus, despite being an Orc or also known as a 'lesser creature' his reputation as a intimidating Mercenary and Magic user has allowed him to be invited to the tower despite it. Outrage has raised question to why an Orc was invited to the tower and negative light was thrown onto him but he brushed it off without a care. Personality Korthul is a person who is the silent and stern companion of the group while having a intimidating appearance that wards away interaction by others. While he looks to be the leader of any group, he prefers to just be in the back and watch things happens either naturally or he goes in and tries to change it if needed. He, despite being an Orc is a strategic person who calculates and access the situation before acting. In combat he fights ruthlessly his might with the means of winnings by anyway whether its a clean method or dirty one. He honestly doesn't care about the opinions of his allies and remains as a loner in any situation. Magic School and Skill Korthul has the skill to use both Destruction and Alteration Magic with good proficiency, preferring Alteration magic over Destruction. While not Combat Magic which is a bled of both magics, he uses both branches of magic to suit his own needs depending on the situation. Outside his use of Magic, Korthul is skilled as a warrior who uses his Axe as his primary weapon in battle, while having armor to protect himself. Both uses of the two magics that he uses are purely offensive and combat oriented with little pre-planed defensive moves to fall back on. While his offensive play style is his main form of fighting, however that doesn't work out he can fall to the defensive and incorporate strategy to defeat his opponents Using his experience as both an Magic-user and Warrior he blends the two together to use each skill with one another.

Name: Maxwell Pavus Aliases: The Last Historian (of the Old Age) Gender: Male Race:
Maxwell is a Miraluka, who are a near-human race who were said to be born from the stars and cursed without eyes and instead have used mysticism to allow them to see the world in their own unique way. How they are able to use farsight without a sightstone is a mystery but it is known that everyone of the Miraluka are capable of at least the most basic form of Far-Seeing as it is their only way of looking in the world. Using mysticism in nearly every moment of their day, the Miraluka have refined and developed a way of 'seeing' the essence of magic. Allowing them to see how they are formed allowing them to weave spells of magic with unique effects on the physical world. Their civilization was a trading kingdom who traded magical ingredients and was a place that was filled with magical energy as many experiments were carried out in their land. They were the historians and record-keepers of magic being able to see magic, they recorded many forms of magic that have been lost but recorded in case the resurface such as Runic Magic, foreign magic such as Planar magic and the many variations of Occult magic. It was rumored that the Miraluka people produced their seemingly endless amount of magical essence from a still buring star deep underground suspended in time by the use of an highly advance use of an magic-weave that stopped time. With this energy produced by this star, they ran many experiments and projects about magic into the past, viewing the events of the events that already have happened and recorded them in their many scrolls. While they denied it, the Miraluka have been said to be Mana Addicts as they are always constantly having a magical energy that didn't mind in their kingdom in amounts that are considered overwhelming to other people not use to it. Despite this, the Kingdom of the Miraluka was a popular place for people of all kinds as they sold many things ranging from enhanced Alchemical ingredients to magical trinkets for travelers. Their kingdom was also declared as a neutral standing to all conflict and refused to become a part in any war rather becoming the center of one if it must. They Miraluka's magical defense was beyond its age, creating a near impenetrable magical barrier that covered their entire kingdom. Their magical weaponry was also quite advance, but they never used it to its full potential as they created The Tree of Yggdrasil, an disturbing large tree that grew around their castle that was in the center of their kingdom. Making the tree loom over the entire kingdom, while it was still protected under the magical barriers. The tree was said to be able to shoot beams of light into the starry night sky, separating the clouds above the kingdom and collecting into a singularity before bursting in a shining bright light that shot out sharp crystals of light. It was only a small percentage of the tree's power but the warring kingdoms knew not to mess with the Kingdom after that and the Tree was then now a place for sightseeing but its was said it was always active, waiting in case anything happened. This however was strange as one day, all the travelers that were coming to the Kingdom of the Miraluka were all ushered out with violence if it was necessary and closed its gates to everyone. Later in the day people outside of the Kingdom could see the Tree of Yggdrasil blooming golden figs that radiate warming light that fell into the kingdom. But still its gates remain closed and many of the travelers left leaving the kingdom up to what ever it was doing. However, the next day the kingdom was picked up and gone with no signs of destruction with the expection of the earth underneath the kingdom taken along with it. It was confirmed that all those who used Sightstones said that their medium was glowing in bright purple, crimson and violet light all night and any attempts to scry ended in painful feedback. Rumors in the mysticism and occult circles of magic said that the gods punished the Miraluka for creating a tree that produce something similar to what the creator Impes was able to done when he created the gods. They were saying that the Figs were able to bend reality depending on what the person wished when they ate the Fig whether they said it out loud or was inside their mind. This event happened several hundred years ago disappearing during Primus early years as the great wizard. Only recently have reports of the Miraluka appeared in various locations around the world, some stripped of their magical ability to see and insane from the lack of something feeding their magical hunger. While others having their magical abilities present but were famished without something to feed their addiction making them weak. It seems what legacy of the Miraluka left remained back in the kingdom from all those many centuries ago in their golden age, as now the Miraluka are now just addicts who fail to preform the simplest of task without their 'fix'.
Appearance:

Backstory:
Maxwell during his time in the Kingdom was a Historian of some renown and was one of predecessor to the throne of the Miraluka's throne if anything happened to the first 3 predecessors. While not interested in the throne he would fill the position if needed, his true work was the research of magic from the days of old and was able to use the Miraluka's Star as his medium to focus into the events that happened in the past to observe what happened. He observed recorded events and corrected them along with observing foreign magic that were now not common in the current time, recorded them as well. He was an avid user of their race's Spell-Weaving abilities being able to form complex formations by himself and was known to be the few of the Miralukas to be able to use words of power thanks to his Historical and Mysticism experience. He was perhaps the Miraluka who understood the Words of Power the most as he deciphered the ancient words with the languages through the ages and it only matched with a few in several key spots. All those spots were located in religious text and under more investigating he discovered the meaning of these Words and that these Words of Power were sentient and if the user knew what they were, they were able to change how people perceived them. After his discovery his use of the Words of Power have always been heard in his most commonly used language. His success was short as war threaten the kingdom of the Miraluka and Maxwell was placed as a researcher for the good of the kingdom to protect it at all cost. Barriers were placed by them who were experienced with the weave and protected the kingdom with their complex work of art, with the shield up research was put into something that could defend the kingdom as their magic have no real true way of dealing massive damage to such large amount of enemies. So research went into the Tree of Yggdrasil, a mystical tree said to appear in various ages and it was confirmed with multiple visions of a giant tree blooming golden fruit in the previous ages of history. Trying to create their own Tree of Yggdrasil, they used their eternal burning star as a medium to supply magical energy to their tree and it was a success. They were able to synthesize a 'holy' tree with the use of their spell-weaving, manipulating the tree and trapping the magical energy in it continuously the tree became what it wanted. After its creation the tree was taken from their hands and was placed with the military branch, in a cry of out rage Maxwell and the other Miraluka researched demanded the Tree to be in their property and jurisdiction but were ignored. After the Tree was taken out of their hands, by the order of their king the researchers and Maxwell were told to forget what they created and resume their every day lives. After an repeated and abusive display of power from the Tree of Yggdrasil, Maxwell knew that something bad was going to happen when it took boom and figs were created. He instantly reported the event and cautioned on waiting for them to dissolve into magical essence but they again ignore his request and took the figs before trying to turn them into eternal sources of power again. Leaving the castle, Maxwell was nervous but hoped for the best and he went on and when dusk came and sleep was near, he closed his eyes naively not realizing what was to come. That night perhaps by divine judgement the kingdom was whisked away for defiling a holy artifact such as the golden figs and for artificially creating a holy artifact. But memories of what happened in that bright blinding emptiness was non-existent and when he woke up from that bright light, he was alone in the woods with tattered clothing that he went to sleep in. Then it hit him, the strange wanting of something that grew and grew. He was afraid of what had happened and quickly fixed his clothing with magic before asking what had happened to the Kingdom of the Miraluka. After repeated attempts and research in available history books, it dawned on him that their kingdom was gone and most likely destroyed leaving few of what remained of them alone with cravings for magic at all cost. In an attempt to appease him craving he preformed odd jobs and a wizard, making money quickly before setting himself up in a tiny shop which sold alchemical supplies and preformed jobs if requested. Using his money and trying to do so rationally, which was difficult Maxwell created a substitute of solidified Mana that could be consumed but side-effects included nausea, throwing up, and migraines. It was a difficult life and his nice appearance deteriorated as he tried to improve his supplements of mana to replace the feeling of the Kingdom's Star which produced mana in such pure quality and wondrous amount. Soon however, he was able to produce a replacement sufficient enough to stop his craving for a short while with no side-effects with the exception of slight dizziness. Besides that, the potion of liquid magical essence worked and was easily created with little work but wouldn't sell in his shop unless he had Miraluka customers which was a near impossible. However soon, he discovered his magical abilities have weakened after losing the Kingdom's Star which empowered them and made them powerful mages inside their protected kingdom. Yet, his magical abilities remained but in a lessor version and would require training to get them back to where they were before which may be impossible for him. It also seems like he didn't age as fast anymore, as he after getting started with his shop has been 5 years and had seemed little change in his appearance. Concerned he went to the Tower of the New Great Mage, knowing that the previous owner Primus was a friendly acquaintance with their kingdom before, but he was uncertain about the new owner. Besides that, Maxwell was searching for answers to why and what happened to his kingdom if the Great Mage could ever find out.
Weapons: Maxwell carries no weapon as he simply lacks the experience to wield one without hurting himself How did you find out about the tower?: Maxwell and the Miraluka were informed of the tower by the previous Great Mage Primus and helped him group all the magics together into distinct branches. They were basically his record-keepers and researchers who helped him out of pure love of the magical arts. The two parties had a friendly relationship and helped one another if they could. Personality: Maxwell is a helpful soul but shys often from social contact and has a difficult time making strong bonds of friendship until its a bit too late. He has a habit to sticking to himself as well and work on projects that people don't know what its purpose is for. His shy nature also makes it hard for him to speak to people but if you are interesting enough or likes you he can hold up a decent conversation. While on the other hand hates speaking to strangers and people who generally are more confident in themselves. His self-esteem is fairly low in comparison to himself and makes it hard on himself often for mistakes that he makes. Magic School and Skill Maxwell after his uncertain amount of time in suspended space, has left his condition of Mana Addiction left untreated and weakened his magical prowess. Without the Star of the Miralukas' his magic is even more weaker without the Star to empower it just like the tower amplifies the Prince's magic abilities. In recent years, Maxwell has refined his substitute for his Mana Addiction and lessened the effects of his withdrawal but his body still wants more that what he can create.
Far-Seeing - The Miraluka are capable of using the most basic form of Far-Seeing at it's their only way of seeing. While others may not train in this area, Maxwell uses Mysticism for its ability for Far-sight and specializes in it, being a Master of that one particular skillset of Mysticism. The rest of the branch of Mysticism is locked until he tries to train in those areas.
Perhaps a side-effect for using Farsight so often, the Miraluka have developed a special ability to be able to see the flow of magical essence that is used for all branches of magic. Like all Miraluka, Maxwell also has developed the ability to see magical essence from all kind of spells and knows when they are being created. Being able to see the residue from magical spells in battles that could have been taken hours or even days ago. In rare cases, remains of magic from ancient battlefields are still lingering for him to investigate of the spells used back then.
The last form of the Miraluka's ability to see magical essence in spell usage is the ability to do the opposite of what mages what do. Only the most talented and dedicated people of this race are able to do this as they are able to see the product of what mages produce, then if given time could easily disassemble spells casted by the mage. This is only possible if they see the whole process of the spell, up to every component.

Spell-Weaving - An obscure branch of magic used only by the Miraluka thanks to their ability to see the essence of magic, are able to weave spells of different branches without much experience in them. Skilled users of the Magic Sight by the Miraluka such as Maxwell are able to use this branch of magic effectively. Being able to see the magical essence in the air, he can collect them and thinly weave them into special circles of magical power in front of him. These magical circles can be combine to increase in potency and can hypothetically be re-layered in a near infinite amount. These circles are a advance form of Alteration Magic that can be used on a large area or on a small concentrated area. Most common uses of Spell-Weaving are in barriers, as they can stack magical circles to increase potency and complexity in them and if enough effort is put in them, these magically weaved barriers are near indestructible.
After decades of magical research and prolong visions of the past, the Miraluka have refined their ability of Spell-Weaving and their Mysticism and unearthed a forgotten branch of magic known as Word of Power. These words of power are similar to Spell-Weaving as they manipulate the world but on a grander scale being able to cast spells of devastating power. These Words of Power appear as a single symbol most often when used before it preforms its intended effect. Two Words of Power appearing at the same time is enough to knock the mage out who are using this form of magic as each word increases the potency and draining of power. Three words will kill the mage unless with extreme amount of magical energy stored, and the only reason why Maxwell is able to use two at most is thanks to his constant use of Farsight.
Alchemy - Maxwell after appearing from nothingness after the disappearance of his kingdom learned the art of alchemy as a substitute for his weakened magic. Learning a fair amount about the subject and being able to create common potions and elixirs easily, while more advance potions with some time and focus. His main reason why he presumed the art of Alchemy was to create a subsituite to his Mana Addiction and in the process learned a little bit more than what he was expecting. In all cases, Maxwell has a basic skill in Alchemy and wouldn't have much problem of locating basic and uncommon alchemic ingredients from what he remembers of back then. However familiar routine always holds him back from learning anything new after memorizing everything from memory.
