1: How would you feel if you were trapped in a mirror for thousands of years when all you wanted to do was go home?
2: The gems were impeding her attempt to return to her home, and you expect her not to fight back
3: She didn't tell Home-World about the Crystal Gems, they already knew due to the encounter at the kindergarten when Peridot was re-activating it
4: Even though the gems could have won, Lapis knew that Jasper might escape and bring back heavy reinforcements but the way she did it Jasper is now out of the picture for good or at least that's what she planned but he may break out.
