[hider=Bio] Tao was a soldier in the Fire Nation army until he was badly injured during one of the missions he was sent on. He left the army as well the Fire Nation after he was healed, deciding to live on his own. Partly because ever since the injury he can't bend with his right arm; which he believes would make him an outcast back home and easy picking for people with vendetta's against Fire Benders anywhere else; partly to rethink his decisions and his stance on the war which he used to believe was necessary to improve the lives of everyone. His parents supported both his choice to join the army and later to leave the Fire Nation, they even gave him enough money to last a couple of weeks before he had to resort to taking odd jobs. Currently he works as a guide in training in one of the forests in the Earth Kingdom, having successfully managed to hide his own nationally. [/hider]
