[h3]TLDR RP UPDATE--IMPORTANT[/h3]
For those people who have not been frequenting the Chatzy room and don't reread the OP every few days to figure out what they've missed, here is a TLDR summary of the drastic 180 that our RP plot has taken.
We have three new factions: Zodiac, Cygnus-X, and Project Astral, in addition to the original faction Nova Infinitum.
Below is a one-sentence summary of each organization's stance.
Zodiac: Uncorrupt Supremacists who believe that Corrupted stars (and people who make Corrupted stars) need to be eliminated. Based in Shanghai, China.
Cygnus-X: Stellar-Rights interest group that favors destroying NI and liberating the Stars there. Based in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Project Astral: MI6s superhuman military that trains Stars from a very young age. Based in London, England.
And of course, Nova Infinitum: The stereotypical research-firm gone bad, with some attempts to develop a super-human task force. Basically they want a monopoly on all the Stars in the world.

Currently most of our characters are Nova Infinitum or Undetermined. I moved all of the characters who are still at their homes to "undetermined" because some part of me doubts that all of them will be picked up by the agents who are actually "supposed" to pick them up. Silly meddlesome third parties. XD JK, I love you guys and your plot twists. Anyway.

ANYWAY. Back to RP stuff.
So this RP was *going* to be following the kids with their daily life shenanigans, and now I'm afraid it's going to be politicspoliticspoliticspoliticsblaaah. For this reason I am cutting off applications for other factions. I think four is perhaps still more-than-plenty. If you want to appeal for a faction anyway, I'll look it over, but I'm going to be picky about them now. .-.
Characters, we have lots of characters, but very few in any of the other factions. I would encourage everyone to make at least one character in at least one other faction.
