Even if he did, he himself had too much on the line. He had a family, he had a town, and he wasn't going to take chances every single time more and more dangerous monsters appeared to fight the gems.

That sounded strange to her. Why wouldn't he help the people that obviously needed it? Was it because they were out of his town or area, or because they weren't gems? Sodalite only had more and more questions as Bloodstone continued to speak. The prospect of a warp pad seemed interesting though. She didn't know what such device could do, but she had to keep focused on what he was telling the group of four, or three as Sodalite didn't know where Spinel was at the moment.
