[b]Personality/Background[/b]
Lacy grew up in a stable home with her mother, her father, her grandfather, and her big brother. She is very family oriented and fairly religious because of her grandfather. Her mother taught her how to dance and play the piano, her grandfather taught her how to farm, her dad taught her how to nurse both people and animals back to health, and her brother taught her how to hunt and defend herself should she need to. Because of her upbringing, Lacy is very blunt, often telling people how it is or how she feels about something without thinking about how they may react. She, above all else, believes that lying is the worst sin a human can do to another. Well, besides murdering them. She holds trust and respect as paramount above all else and looks for that in others. She isn't easy to gain the respect of, but she is nice and tends to give people the benefit of the doubt, even in tough times like these. However, once someone loses her respect, she will often never respect or trust them again. She doesn't give second chances very easily. 

Before the 'shit hit the fan,' Lacy was on a trip to Macon with her brother. He was taking her over there to visit a hospital, one that their father often worked at. It was supposed to be a surprise. It was their father's birthday and they were going to surprise him at work. However, as they came down the road, the unexpected happened. Lacy watched as the building they were meant to go to exploded in a flash of red and orange as the building collapsed on itself. Neither of them could believe it as they both stood there, watching it all. The planes flew by, people scattered. Somehow, her brother had managed to get them turned around and headed out of Macon, much to Lacy distress. She begged him to go back, maybe... maybe their father was alive! 

That day, Lacy and her brother got stuck on the road and found themselves stuck with a group of strangers they'd never met before. Now, she finds herself in a small group of people with her brother. It's been a few months since they'd banded together for the sake of survival and they've been all over the place since then. Now, they desperately look for a place where they can stay...

He's good with a gun though, which I suppose is why he's survived this long. He's saved my hide plenty of times and I'm sure he'll save it more to come. I just wish my brother would lighten up on him..."[/color]

Dabriah Sauagius - [color=aquamarine]"I wish she'd just admit we're friends already. She's so distant, it's unfair. I guess I just can't get past how well she can see through people. It's like she doesn't look at you, she looks through you, at all the things you'd rather tie up and hide away from the world. Which, honestly... makes me resent her a bit. She's another one that I wish would just lighten up and well... be a friend. It's the end of the world, we should have a little bit of fun where we can, right? I'd call her a friend but mostly because I don't have too many of those these days so I'll hold on to the ones I can call friends, even if they might not be. Still, again, she saved my hide many times, something I can never repay her for."[/color]

Lacy Carter - [color=aquamarine]"Oh, uh... that's me, ain't it? I mean... I'm pretty average. I'm not very good at combat with those... things but I'm gettin' better. Maybe one day, I won't need so much protectin'. Still, I like to think that I'm the comforter in the group. Even if they yell at me a lot for singin' and carryin' on. I'm pretty sure Edward's caught me dancing near our campsites a while back. He never said anything about it though. Not sure why... Though, I know that Jack's made it pretty clear I'm not one to be messed with. Maybe that's why he never said anything?"[/color]

Jack Carter - [color=aquamarine]"Well, that's my big brother. Hehe, he's gettin' old! Don't tell him I said that, though. I'm sure he'd smack me for sure! Hmm... What to say about Jack... He's always been there for me even if his cookin' [i]is[/i] atrocious. He can be a bit over bearing at times and he often does really bad things just to keep me safe. Which is why I often try not to get into trouble. Doesn't always work, though. I've always seen Jack as the person I can trust the most and the person that I can rely on the most. When I'm sad, his hugs are what keep me going. When I'm down, his jokes are what pull me out of it. When I'm angry, his gentle nudge wakes me up. The perfect older brother."[/color]

Edward Richter - [color=aquamarine]"Hmm... I'm not so sure about Edward. He seems laid back and carefree but I've seen him get really emotional once. It sort of took me by surprise and I'm not sure if I was the only one to see it. He makes a lot of jokes and lays around a lot, not really contributing to the rest of the work load. I mean, at least Jack [i]tries[/i] to help with the laundry. Even though I usually just shoo him away 'cause he does it wrong. He will often ask me questions I don't know the answer to which promptly causes me to leave where he is to find someone else to talk to. I've never been one for the hard questions. I guess I'm just bad like that. Grandpa always got mad at me about that. Edward likes to wander off too. It sucks because sometimes he leaves right before I call for dinner! I'm not a bad cook...Maybe Riley should just cook all the time. I'm probably just useless."[/color]

Riley Vega - [color=aquamarine]"At first, Riley just sort of scared me. She gives off that, 'Don't talk to me, ever.' attitude and most of the time I listen to those. However, as time went on I talked to her more and more and found that she's actually not that bad. In fact, I love gettin' to spend time with her when we cook and set up the tents and stuff. I mean, I know everyone else sets up the tents to, but I do enjoy spendin' time with her now. She's been teachin' me a lot about cookin' and stuff. Plus, she closer to my age than anyone else. Jack's my brother and all, but I need someone my age to hang out with!"[/color]
