As for how durable the crystals are, his armor is more so than the ones he makes as it's a lot denser(meaning that he'll sink even faster into any liquid while he has it on) and could resist low caliber bullets with relative ease, shotguns at close range or slug rounds will cause moderate cracking, Sniper rifles and Large Calibur Hand cannons can severely crack the armor, even breaking/piercing it if the weapon is powerful enough. For more blunt damage, it could withstand getting hit by the punch of someone with moderate levels of super strength or having some throw a car at him. Both events would definitely cause him quite a bit of pain as well and would probably cause moderate to severe cracking, depending on how focused the area of effect is.
