But seriously, about that armor - how strong is it? Can it resist all that Kevlar can x 50, at base, or is that something it has to be built up too? I understand armor offers some base resistance otherwise it would be useless, so what is the base it can do? Also, how does it disperse everything out over a wider area to reduce the damage, and if it is not Kevlar, but Kevlar was used as an example, how does it stop piercing attacks when they could slip between the cracks? It stands to reason armor like that would fair better against blunt trauma and be worse off against piercing attacks, and fairly neutral to cutting attacks.
