Personality: Eris is a very intellectual person. She likes logic and reasoning, and in general she's very curious. She's a problem solver, who does puzzles and math problems in her free time. Eris is the kind of person to spend hours on a problem in order to solve it. However, when it comes to human interaction, Eris tends to be extremely oblivious. She has trouble conveying her words to others, and doesn't understand why people do what they do sometimes.

The user can control waves of different kinds, tidal waves, soundwaves, brainwaves, electronic and radiowaves, etc. With this, the user can control sonar waves to enhance sound or even mute them, or cause others to fall asleep by manipulating their brainwaves. The user can also intercept and interpret messages in radio waves, and cause massive tidal waves, washing away anything in its path. 

Her current abilities: 

Radio Manipulation: The user can manipulate radio waves and frequencies as well as things that use radio waves, such as AM and FM waves, TV radio waves/frequencies as well as waves/frequencies from cell phones, AM or FM radio, Radar, and so on. 

Tidal Wave Generation: The user can call forth huge water waves to crash down at their targets, washing everything away in a powerful torrent. 

Limited abilities: 

Acoustokinesis: User can create, shape and manipulate sound, a periodic disturbance of the medium (air, ground, water, etc) that radiates outward in straight lines in the form of a pressure wave. The effect these waves produce upon the ear is perceived as sound. From the point of view of physics, sound is considered to be the waves of vibratory motion themselves, whether or not they are heard by the human ear. User can mimic, intensify, hush, and distort, as well warp, strengthen, echo, speed up, and slow down sound, using it as a powerful physical force and high-speed movement. At low frequencies, sound is potentially fatal to living beings by causing internal damage, while high frequencies cannot be heard by normal humans but can be used for sonar-like effects. Since sound vibrations can travel through the air, ground, water and any form of medium, defense by using physical barriers is difficult. The vibrations can also affect at a molecular level. In essence, sound is an invisible, deadly weapon and a versatile tool. 

Restrictions: 

Energy Usage: Consistent use of Eris's power drains a large amount of energy from her body. After using 55% of her energy, she starts to lose her ability to hear, and goes completely deaf after losing 65% of her energy. Once she's used approximately 75% of her power, she starts to see hallucinations. Her energy can also drain when she does physical activities. 

Congenital Heart Disease: Eris was born with a heart defect that occasionally messes with the muscles that make up her heart. Eris doesn't know the full extent of it, but when under emotion stress, Eris's heart muscles spasm causing a sharp pain in her chest and difficulty to breathe. As her powers formed it frequently happened due to her inability to control her powers and her emotional instability. But as she's learned self control, it's gotten less frequent.

Occupation: College Student, Majoring in Chemical Engineering 

Other/Bio: Eris was born an only child into a family of perfectionists. So as she grew up she was expected to be perfect at everything including academics, music, and sports. This left no time for Eris to interact with her peers. Her parents also weren't very loving people, they just wanted her success. While Eris could understand her parent's view, she still felt resentment towards their attitude. 

Eventually radios around Eris started getting scrambled, at first she thought it was a coincidence. But soon it became to obvious to ignore, however, Eris knew her parents would think of her as ridiculous if she told them, so she kept her mouth shut. She soon found out that she could create ripples in a still standing glass of water. She didn't know what was going on, so she decided it was best to keep quiet. As time went on, Eris started honing in on these abilities and trying to control them. To a degree it worked. At least she could listen to the radio. 

One day Eris's parents took her to the beach, where she sat in the shade and read a book. Then a group of teenagers Eris's age invited her to play volleyball. Having played in a variety of sports, Eris agreed. Mostly because they needed one more person to make the teams even. After creaming her opponents, the teens asked her to play in the water with them, so she complied. Soon they were all jumping into large tidal waves, it was the most interaction Eris had ever had with kids her age. Eris wanted to show off to her new friends and came up with an idea. She told the group that she could create a large tidal wave over 8 feet tall. Naturally they didn't believe her, so they dared her to do it. Eris used the new found feeling in her gut to focus and create a tidal wave that was 9 feet tall. The kids thought it was a fluke so she did it again. While some of the kids thought it was cool, most thought she was a monster, and were suddenly afraid of her. The started running away and screaming at the other people on the beach, telling them that Eris was inhuman. Eris felt something inside her shatter. Soon Eris's parents heard and they had a "talk" with her. It ended up being an interrogation. Eris told them everything and demonstrated her abilities to them. Her parent's panicked and told her that under no circumstance was she allowed to used her powers. Already depressed after the events that took place, Eris agreed. 

When Eris turned 16, she was getting tired of suppressing her powers, so she started to practice in secrete. Then, one day, she was practicing how to manipulate radio waves, when she accidentally found out that she could also control sound waves. She had just been in an argument with her parents. So in a small act of defiance, she started practicing. Angry, she accidentally created a large, sonic boom burst though her house. The building collapsed. Eris was fine since she was at the epicenter of the sound wave, so she went in search of her parents in the rubble. She found them both under a piece of debris that was slowly crushing them. Her parents pleaded with her to use her powers in some sort of way to save them, but instead of helping them Eris looked at them coldly. And repeated the words they said to her. "You are under no circumstance allowed to use your powers." With a horrified look in their eyes, the unstable building further collapsed, crushing them under it's weight. To this day she holds no regrets. 

After the ordeal, there was the problem of who Eris would live with for the next two years of her life. Both her mom's and her dad's side of the family argued and butted heads. So she spent the next two years of her life moving from family member to family member. Now she goes to the University of Washington DC on a full ride scholarship. She still spends most of her time studying, but it's something she's interested in, Chemical Engineering.
