Pff, I'm 27 and see no need to smoke it. Also alergies and asthma is not uncommon in my family. For instance, my dad is allergic to tea tree oil. 

But yes others with me confirmed what the scent was (I was not familiar with it) and my throat got quite scratchy and slightly inflaimed. I became much more susceptible to things after having a severe case of bronchitis.
