OK, this RP is based loosely in world of The Last of Us.  There is nothing needed to be known about the video game itself, or its characters, just know about key concepts (cordyceps, Hunters, Fireflies, FEDRA, etc), all of which can be found on any wiki.  But feel free to ask if necessary.

This RP will be mature, meaning there will be death, gore, violence and profanity.  

I am the Master here.  Not in like, the cosmic, ego sense.  I run this RP.  I want to keep it going.  I want YOU ALL to also make things happen and create.  Take some liberties.  If there is something that I’m just like, “absolutely not,” I will address it with respect and discretion.  

Handle yourself maturely or I will handle you for you.  This may result in me removing you from the RP.  And, most likely, killing off your character.

I encourage players to:
-Use NPCs.
-Create NPCs.  
-Create multiple characters.
-Kill characters (I think this is essential in an RP like this).
-Force actions of another character.  While I do not mean this as “run my character,” I do mean to take some minor liberties.  This may mean something like “Azseth walked in and slammed the door behind him.  When Beth (your character) looked over, Azseth nodded a greeting.”  So this was something basic that didn’t hurt anyone.  

What it ALSO did not do is put another player in a position to have to make a “nod” or “greeting” into some advanced level post.  It also doesn’t break up the fluidity of a post.  

And this gets easier as the RP goes on and we get to know one another’s char.

However, if something happens and some player screams about you forcing an action, try to make the situation NOT a situation and work it out.  Or I will.

-Plot with other players.
-Link histories with other characters.
Ok.  Next.  This is not Left for Dead or some online shooter.  If you think this RP is about “killin soooo many zom b’s lol!” or something of that nature, you are wrong.  This is about the characters, them changing, interacting, and surviving in a world that is less than ideal.  It’s about struggles.  

This is an RP about people.  This is an RP about humanity.  This is an RP about what it takes to survive and what surviving does to us mentally.

I do not expect MASSES of constant posts.  I have a life, I have family.  I have problems.  I have to eat.  I get sick.  Sometimes, I go outside into the RL.  I’m sure you all do, to more or lesser degrees.  Do I expect a post a week?  Maybe.  It depends on the individuals, and the RP.  Gunna be gone?  Message me so you don’t come back to your char being shot and left to sprout fungus.  

I cannot stress enough.  If you are not patient, if you cannot hold interest in an RP after a month, if you lose interest after the initial spree of posts, then PLEASE do not waste time and go RP elsewhere.  

DO NOT POST IN THE CHARACTER THREAD until I approve your char.  If you send via PM, or post in the OOC, that’s fine.

7/11 - Few things to think about:
-No need for any characters to be linked, but some form of relationship with someone is kind of advised.
-Characters do NOT have to be involved in ANYTHING illegal.  They could be a builder, electrician, teacher, whatever.
-EEEEVERY character SHOULD have some sort of "job" with the city.  A LEGIT one.  Meaning, people aren't going to be just hanging out and eating and shit.
-Be wary of living in Ward 3.
-Feel free to PM me about relationships with my characters, I'm more than willing to collaborate.
