A habit of mine is to not increment my do whiles. Crash, make changes, run, infinite loop. Repeat. I'm not a Unix person (I just code), but I do love recursion with GNU's Not Unix. It's the most novel acronym I've come across. Anyhoo, I'm curious. Any COBOLs or FORTRANs here? I heard they're a rare bunch these days. But I wonder, what was the programming world like before COBOL? Was it punched cards?
