Name : Ashley Daniels Age : 18 Gender : Female Appearance/Looks : Ashley is of average height (5' 6"), with a wiry build. She has widish shoulders, narrow hips, a flat chest and rear that makes her look kind of boyish. Almost as if trying to offset this, Ashley wears a lot of make-up, her fingernails are usually painted with crazy patterns, she wears enough eye shadow that sometimes it looks like its unsatisfied with occupying her eyelids and is trying to take over the rest of her face, even evident on her very dark skin, and she wears colorful lipstick that samples from the whole rainbow. Ashley's face is an oval shape with pronounced cheekbones, full lips, large nose and almond shaped brown eyes. However, these features have not gone untampered with, as aside from make up Ashley also likes piercings. She has one black ring looped through her right nostril, a couple silver studs above her left eyebrow, a stud through her tongue and about three rings on each side going through her ears. She removes these piercings for work, but otherwise wears them when she can. Ashley has astigmatism so she wears a pair of square, thin-rimmed glasses to make up for her occular deficit. Her black hair is long and wild, a fact that Ashley takes advantage of by dying her hair different colors and styling to make look messier than it actually is. Right now she's given herself wild bangs and died the tips blue-green. Ashley dresses pretty casually, a band t-shirt, some cargo pants, sneakers and a band hoodie is its chilly. If she's dressing up to go out with friends or something, the cargo pants are subbed for tastfully ripped jeans, sneakers for tall black boots with lots of spikes on them, and the hoodie for a brutal leather jacket she found at a thrift shop that she managed to restore to its former glory. Species : Human Sexual Preference : Heterosexual Likes : Heavy Metal, hair dye, Classical History, spicy foods, shitposting on the internet, cheesy 80s flicks Dislikes : Hot weather, the word "moist," electronic music, fish as living animals but not as a meal, French Canadians Bio : Ashley was born to upper-middle class parents in Montreal. Her mom Diane worked as a bus driver and her dad John worked as a manager for some paper company. Going from straight finances, only her father really needed to work, but Diane didn't like sitting around the apartment all day, so most of Ashley's childhood was spent with her older half-brother Spencer who was 15 years her elder. Spencer was kind of an a-hole, but he taught Ashley to be her own person. Don't listen to what others say against you, they're just jealous or a prick. Do what you gotta to make it in the world. Also, Spencer liked to smoke a lot of pot while their parents weren't around. Perhaps unwisely, Spencer also taught his baby sister all the best places to hide things in the apartment where neither the landlord nor the parents would find them. In 7th grade, Ashley got involved with the edgy kids who would listen to bands like Green Day and Linkin Park and think themselves deep. It was here that Ashley first got her first taste of heavy metal. Spencer liked to listen to reggae and her parents listened to 70s rock so it was a rather eye opening experience. Moving into secondary school, the crowd Ashley hung out with matured into the stoner kids who also listened to a lot of metal. Her grades weren't the best, but they were pretty good. It was some pretty good times. However, the year before graduating public school, Ashley's dad was transferred to the American branch of his company in New York City, so her and her parents had to pack up and move to another country (Spencer had long since moved out by now). The first few months in America were pretty weird, but if there were two things she liked about this place more than Motreal, it was that the signs had English big enough to comfortably read it from a distance, and the tv was better. After graduating public school, Ashley decided to take a year off from school and work for a year so she wouldn't have to be so dependent on loans and scholarships. As of right now, she's still living with her parents to save money. Occupation : Taxi Driver Country of Origin : Montreal, Canada Feelings about meeting their soul mate : Ashley actually does her best to not see the tattoo, to the point of covering it up with a bandage. Like, it's cool that everyone has a soul mate and all, but she would rather not ruin the surprise. Getting all excited or anxious about the meeting occuring sounds like you're bound to make a bigger deal out of it than it needs to be. Ashley would rather just go with the flow. Besides, your soulmate doesn't have to be your lover or whatever like a lot of her classmates in highschool thought. What if it's another straight chick and you get to be lifelong friends? Then you'd still need to go out and date people. It's better not knowing for now.
