Yes, she's a boss and is supposed to be difficult to defeat.

If you can find a way to stop her playing then the effect comes to an end, but actually getting her to stop is the problem. Between you all the squad has the right combination of abilities and traits to take her down, and [@SimplyJohn] was on the right track when he was talking about combining your talents together in the right way to pull off the victory.
