[@Tabitha Jade] lol now aint that the truth!!! the diner was across from two bar type lounges, so along with all the crack junkies and pot heads, we got ALLL the drunks who came in after the bar. Sometimes it was great, they'd be too drunk to realize how much they were tipping while other times, they'd be too drunk to remember to tip. The money was good, but I'm happy I got out of the restaurant industry when I moved lol I paid my dues, worked in a sports bar, in an irish pub (real irish, connected to an irish hotel, exclusively in Dublin and New York) an indian restaurant and the diner. I owe most of my customer service skills and development of a thick skin to working at starbucks for 7 years, and now I have a part time desk job. So snug in my comfy chair and scrubs. I never have to be on my feet for 8-12 hours again! lol
