Interesting ... someone asking me about American blacks. I dont have a stereotype coz we have Obama on one hand and the movie archtypes (GTA stuff) on the other. I find people are more about who they are rather than what race they are. Soooo yeaaaa ... not that I deny race and culture aren't significant, but I never put it first when I meet someone new. 

Interesting mix you've got though. Suggestive of a potential religious and not just cultural clash to be frank. No true input for either side given I know little from both communities. Pffft I do have a black NPC in a making but also the personality and background down coz yeah friend of friend as inspiration. :P
