When Kakashi mentioned that Lee was as eager as ever to impress people like her, Sakura's cheeks briefly turned red before fading away. [b]"He's a very determined ninja, I admire that about him. I know if it weren't for his resilience, he would still be struggling to recover."[/b] She said, choosing to not bring up that he wasn't her type, it wasn't really appropriate. The rest of the way was spent talking about Ino and the usual antics expected from Gai and Lee. By the time they arrived at Tsunade's office, there wasn't much else to say and Sakura was ready to know what was going on and how she could possibly help. 

When the Hokage allowed them inside, Sakura was surprised to find Lady Tsunade to be so quiet and formal. Although she didn't know what the topic of conversation would be, she hoped nothing had gone wrong, that perhaps her training with Kakashi had to be cut short, or even halted. Sakura held her breath and waited until the woman was ready to speak. When she did, she mustered an apology for her secrecy and then continued to explain what was going on. When she mentioned Kakashi's readiness to put students' lives on the line, Sakura gave the silver haired teacher a quick look, putting it together in her head. From what he had mentioned briefly about Lee running off, she wondered if Kakashi was called upon as well, and if he perhaps wanted her to come.

Her expression lit up but she kept quiet as the blond busty woman continued to speak.

More information was given to her and the more she heard, the more excited she was growing but still managed to keep her expression calm and even. Sakura returned her gaze to the woman and held it, not daring to seem anything but ready for the challenge. Tanzaku Town was an interesting location, one Sakura had read about and had even heard Naruto speak about prior to his departure. It wouldn't bother her much but she knew it could be crawling with other dangers as well. Tsunade continued to talk about the man in depth, listing the risks that came with tracking him down. Sakura was a little daunted by the news that he had killed the Kazekage but she also had a feeling she knew who might be able to step into such shoes, even if she didn't think too well of him: Gaara. 

[b]"I understand."[/b] She gave a nod as the woman who then sat back in her seat.

Sakura wasn't sure if she needed to make her case herself or not though. Before she could collect her thoughts and organize them properly, Tsunade raised her own concerns firmly. Opening her mouth and then closing it, Sakura knew she needed to say something but she also didn't want to worry Tsunade even more by saying the wrong thing. She decided honesty would be the best route, rather than acting like Naruto would. [b]"I wish I could say I feel ready, that I could take him on with Kakashi Sensei without being a burden. I can't though."[/b] She paused, not wanting Kakashi to think that she was falling into the trap of lacking confidence, something he mentioned yesterday during lunch. [b]"I'm not going to give an empty promise and fail to deliver it. I know what I'm capable of though...I know I know where I can help and when I should stay out of the way. I have great chakra control and detection."[/b]

[b]"With Kakashi Sensei's help, I've been able to get a good grasp of the Water Dragon Jutsu as well as focus my concentration and in turn find better confidence in myself, something that I had been struggling with since...Sasuke and Naruto's departure."[/b] She sighed softly, not wanting to talk about that. [b]"I can promise however, I will do everything I possibly can to make sure we find the children and bring them back to their homes safely. With the medic jutsu I know, I can also help with minor injuries."[/b] She pointed out. Of course her medical training had to take a break while she started things with Kakashi but she remembered the basics good enough. [b]"I understand you're worried and the position that you're in, Lady Tsunade but if I didn't feel capable, I wouldn't accept this mission. I'm not irrational, foolhardy or restless. I know I can be of help and I know seeing this mission through would prove that Konoha can survive and still protect the innocent while bringing others to justice."[/b]
