Xing Yi was fairly shocked at the werewolf's martial arts, but it didn't matter, while fast he wasn't as graceful, not as disciplinced just a beast with unholy powers he was not a true martial arts expert like Xing Yi was, he was not prepared for the shaolin. However he did manage to dodge the elbow strike and use a back step counter to dodge the back kick as it came around, of course during the whole attack Xing Yi's mind was fully aware of where the werewolf was, even with his back turned to to him he could feel the postion of any living creature and it this range was able to feel more specific movements as they were happening, no attack would catch him totally off guard. The Werewolf had opted to stab him as his leg came round, Xing Yi launched the kick with perfect form but it was not able to reach its target, however the monk was far from defenseless, the monk was as comfortable and stable as a spin kick as a normal man would be sitting in a hammock, the werewolf had not accounted for the monk's arms still wrapped in the magic phoenix material. Xing yi swung his left forearm down and to the side as he turned to parry the blade that was aimed for his stomach. The collision of magical metal made a satisfying cling! It was a pleasant enough noise to help the monk forget about his fairly large yet surface wounds on his chest and leg as his skin was still leaking small amounts of blood. None of this mattered, the werewolf was directly inf front of him. With the sword out of the way and parried, Xing's foot landed next to the opponents right side after the kick, Xing used the stepping momentum to throw a a heavy and lightning fast karate punch from the hip his hand twisting as it shot towards the Wolf directly in front of him, all the while keeping his left forearm ready to guard again. Even a god would feel this.
