Gaia finally finished the girl’s hair, she smiled ever so softly as she extended her little hand behind her back, feeling her hair and how un-tatty it was. Sophia simply thanked her and hugged her tightly, even though she was rather much restricted due to her broken leg. All Gaia could do was giggle and hug her back. She finally flew off the bed and helped Sophia get back into her original position.

The rest of the late afternoon was a slow day for the Gaia, but seeing the kids made her very happy. In such a dark world where there was nothing but complete political control over everything the kids didn’t even know what was going to hit them the moment they matured, as Gaia kept thinking about this one of the doctors had to eventually comfort her in the medical room of the children's ward, it was obvious… Gaia couldn’t stand to see these kids used as pawns for GTC, nor could she see them mistreated at all like almost every talent worker that works for GTC. 

It was finally the end of her shift, and she had to say goodnight to the kids, but before she did she checked her clipboard to see who got a little story read to them that night, and it was a boy who was recently discharged from the ward, and she only found it fair if the person who was next on the list got it tomorrow night. So with that she decided to return to her quarters.

As she returned to her quarters she got everything ready for an early night, took her cloak off, her uniform off and had a shower, removing all of the remaining glitter off her wings. While in the shower she thought of the day's events, and boy; was it quite an eventful one. But she was happy she could spend time with the kids as she didn’t want to miss them for the world.

As she got out the shower she received a com from Ashala and smiled, happy that she could help Ashala out as an empath and as a doctor, after the com finished Gaia nodded in appreciation, even though she knew Ashala couldn’t see it or anything; finally she went into her bed, ready to sleep.
