Is there a reason why? O.o
I didn't really like how she turned out, now that I had a long while to think about it.

It seems I managed to out-edge myself.

"I guess I'd have to."
Username: SilverDawn Name: "Jiang" Age: 28 Gender: Female Crystal Color: The colour of Jiang's crystal is a murky white. Allegiance: House Gryphes Rank: N/A, acts as the resident doctor. Skills: Surgery and scaring people. She doesn't have many talents, but she's good at what she does. Abilities: Jiang can create and control the cold. While this ability is useful, she can't create ice unless she has water with her. Generally, her main form of attack is creating a -15°C field around her. It's not a very useful magic, especially when it's already -15°C out. Jiang can also force an object into absolute zero. Generally, it takes 10 minutes to force an object into absolute zero. While in absolute zero, an object will be unaffected by temperature and will not exude any kind of cold air or heat. It would be essentially locked in time if it happens. Living things can not be sent to absolute zero because they constantly release heat. Weapons: Jiang rarely uses weapons, as she rarely will fight. Appearance: Jiang stands at ~5'6" (168cm) and weighs ~128 pounds (~58 kilograms) Personality: Jiang is a frightening person to be around for both houses. She constantly has a small grin. It's unsettling for other people because of the massive scars she has all over her body. When asked about said scars, Jiang would always reply with "experimenting". Jiang speaks with a very casual tone to everyone, except for perhaps the boss. She has no real qualms about killing people. Even if she's slicing someone to death, her grin never changes. According to Jiang, she doesn't realize if she's grinning or not. It just ends up being natural to her. Jiang has a deep fascination with corpses and organs, so she tends to clean up all of the dead bodies. She also brings in a lot of money, so her disturbing presence is somewhat welcomed. History: Jiang was born into a fairly well-off family in China. As a child, she had a rather unhealthy obsession with what was on the inside of things. First, it started with crushing insects and looking at what spilled out. Later on, it turned into small animals. Her parents never really noticed that something was wrong with her. They never found out about the animals, as Jiang hid them fairly well. When Jiang was 22, she had entered med school. She was filled with pleasure from learning about the innards of humans. In her 3 years of studying, she learned all she needed to about the human body and surgeries. She opened a small clinic in a seedy part of town, and began to operate on whoever would come in. Of course, people would die while they were getting operated on because of a certain lack of anesthetics and health-standards. When that would happen, Jiang would operate on them to take and sell their organs. A year had passed and Jiang had a booming business. Triad members would enter with broken bones and leave healthily. It all ended when Jiang harvested the organs of a certain big Triad leader while he was still alive. The Triad members came after Jiang relentlessly. They destroyed her shop, her parent's businesses, everything. Jiang, after losing everything, decided to run. All she took was a few disinfectants and her tools. She made herself a fake identity and hid inside of a fishing boat. The fishing boat left and, after a few days, arrived at a dock in Japan. Jiang snuck out of the boat and into the cities. Something was different about Jiang, though. She had wounds covering her entire body. She entered the boat perfectly fine, and left with large wounds. Jiang wandered around for a day or so. She had odd stares from strangers, but didn't particularly care. While wandering, she had found someone with seven gunshot wounds to his torso. Jiang, knowing he was still alive, took him into a deserted building, and began to operate. The man was (surprisingly) okay after that. He took her to the house boss, and pleaded that Jiang was what they needed. A (somewhat) good surgeon who could help them. In all honesty, Jiang wanted to take the man's organs, but she didn't have anywhere to put it. The man invited Jiang to join their "family". Without anywhere to go, Jiang said yes. They gave her a small crystal and taught her what they could about magic. Jiang trained her magic, but not in a combat way. She trained her magic in a way that could help her surgeries. After a few more years, Jiang became a dedicated surgeon to House Gryphen. She became a valuable addition to their team, despite the entire organ stealing thing.
