I'm so used to the idea of trying to play itself I brought in physics because it is just what makes sense to me. 
So saying a cute spell or potion is more effective then doing it in a rather- "Break the blood down, re-filter it way." makes me feel pretty useless even to the situation.

you have to remember your medical droid would have the stuff needed to make an IV or blood transfusion. If you take the blood, melt it back to a liquid, send it through the droid which would most likely have a filtration system for it, and stick it back into Nai. Problem solved. Also remebering that in the game all one has to do is say a spell or use a potion to be 100% back on their feet. With no Doctors or what ever mentioned in the worlds of Final Fantasy that I know of,  we have to bend the rules of a normal world a little. and use both.
