[color=00a651]Background:[/color] [color=00aeef]Pearl is a Demigod and is the daughter of Poseidon (Greek god of the sea) and a mortal woman called Lyra Carter. When Pearl was 7 years old her mother had left her on a beach saying that she was just getting some towels from the car and would come back, Lyra never came back for Pearl. Pearl waited for two hours before she realised that her mother wasn't coming back and had started to cry, it was at this time that Poseidon came out of the water and explained to her who she was but wasn't able to explain why her mother had left. When Pearl was 8 she was taken under the government and has been going from foster home to foster home for a long time, she was never able to stay long because of her powers which scare the foster parents into getting rid of her.

When she was 16 she ran away from the centre that she had been forced to stay at and has lived on the streets ever since, running from the government and people all together.[/color]
