All the heroes can pass through the TK barriers with ease and are able to take anything they're carrying with them through as well. Otherwise most of the melee fighters would've lost their clothes the first time they broke cover. :hehe

That's why the team brought Brick with them. Stand behind the guy covered with rock and you should be sheltered from any blasts.
