I had a few ideas, use them or leave them.
Eos would recognize the technology behind Zane' s armor and Dynamos, I don't know if it could mean something or not.
The lab might have mechanical traps/defenses like closed armored doors, lasers, mines, missile, robotic guards. You know, the usual.
 I might need to work with [@KoL] nut I think it would be cool to put in a conversation between Zane and who ever is behind this. (Like he talks to a shadow figure on a screen with a disguised voice or somthing.)
