[@Weird Tales]: I'm not the GM, but... No, you didn't directly state it, but it's beyond just being implied. Rape can be utilized in character backstory properly, and I know of a couple of good characters who have backstories which do properly use it off the top of my head. However, just throwing it in to make things darker or generically edgy is offensive and frankly disgusting. Handling the topic remotely well involves a lot more then just tossing it in because it's traumatic and you want to do traumatic things in your character's backstory. Does that seriously need to happen to her to have her have had a rough backstory? Nothing in her character indicates that it's a necessary part of what has created your character, unlike the good characters I know of who have it as part of their backstory. It's not a topic you take lightly and just shove into things to make them dark and edgy. ... Also all she has to do to murder literally everyone in an area is talk loudly enough, so I can pretty much guarantee no GM would accept that even with that terrible backstory.
