Considering FFT only takes place in part of the known world, it's entirely possible that there may be some non-human races about but that might be a stretch. But as I stated, you can play any race of time and existence from final fantasy and FE, but you'll have no memory of where you came from due to being out of your space and time. (I.E: Cloud from tactics) Now if you're with the Shepard or from their plane, that's fine. But if you came from say the original Fire Emblem, you'd have no memory.

The reason I left out A and A2 is because they take part to far away from the events of Tactics, so the events of the Age of Heresey (as I'm calling it) wouldn't have had a significant impact.

Edit: A2 (main game) takes place on the same world, and before the events of WotL. Which is why I stated that A2's main story is acceptable, but won't play any part on what's to come of this story. But the influences and races will be there, if you wanted to do that and keep your memories.
