I've only really seen a map used in 1 RP, but that was because it was more of a collective of countries with people from each.[i] (Wasn't really a nation RP either)[/i]

I could see a map being generated later on for an RP using the information that was given in the IC, but unless it's a large scale RP it may not even be necessary.
