She was unused to this sort of atmosphere. Reve had taken the hand offered to her only to escape possible pursuit, preparing for any measure of situations that may come. She had prepped herself for slavery, perhaps being sold, or even those houses that cater to certain types of individuals but not this. Almost immediately after following the woman, she realized the woman was someone of importance, but the string of kids following her made almost no sense. In her bewilderment she could do naught but protest weakly as she was whisked away for a bath, and given a clean white dress instead of her usual shorts and shirt combo. She was fed, given a place to stay in and made to entertain the other children; something she would have never done on her own, or would have even tolerated. It took three days of that to realize she herself was being treated as if she was one of the kids, though she oddly did not mind as much as she thought she would. It cannot last forever, she reminded herself then. And when the shooting started, those words again repeated in her mind. *** Reve stifled her scream just in time, gritting her teeth as she writhed on the floor in pain. It felt as if every nerve in her body was on fire, pulsing with every beat of her heart. The sound of her own feet clattering on the floor echoed hollowly in the room, before the worst of the pain went away, and she was finally able to do more than just clutch herself on the floor. Thankfully no one had come in during her nap, and saw her wake up screaming. Humans were quick to seize on one's weaknesses after all. Unzipping the pilot suit, she reached inside the sundress she wore inside, and pulled out the small canister of pills. Last two pills... How long have I been here? She herself wasn't sure, but since she had already finished two canisters of pills, it was quite a while since she first came in. There was a last canister of pills on Exia, which should last for quite a bit, but there was no telling how long she would still be in this idiotic place.
