It was automatic, an instinct beyond his control. He turned towards the tall woman, looking up at her glare with his own defying eyes. “You're wrong, Captain Tsukiko. ” A dull light glinted inside him as he paused with thought. “But for the sake of the mission, why not.” Daiki waited until Tsukiko and Ms. Miyaka had all entered the elevator before heading to the stairs. Then, as fast as physically possible, leapt onto the railings and continued up until the 50th floor was clear. Takeshi had beaten him there. Stopping at the door, he activated his sharingan to see where Miyaka and Tsukiko were. They were just getting off. His red eyes became gold as he deactivated the flow of chakra and pushed open the door. Once he got inside, he found the stance she had ordered and hopped through the door. He glanced up at them, a gentle smile on his face as placed his foot on the ground. He walked up just in time to see the cruel demon that hid behind the green veil. “Good, so you finally reveal yourself for the spoiled brat that you are. That makes this so much easier,” he stated vaguely as he sauntered towards her, his smile flattening into a grimace. “You see, ninjas are divided into clans. And most clans are vastly different. The Naito for instance … we don't take kindly to threats or disrespect. Its sorta of a … tick of ours.” “Continue on this path and I don't care if you are my charge, I'll introduce you to reality.” He bent down to her level, fully situated in a crouch, his hands hanging between his legs. “Don't underestimate us ninjas, Ms. Phia. We're deadly weapons,” He whispered lowly, even despite the closeness, it would be a strain for anyone other than Miyaka to pick out. Before she could respond, Daiki raised up and held a hand out to Takeshi for him to stop. It was ridiculous that they would put their pride as ninja in the boxing-ring for such a brat. For the Naito … no, he couldn't speak for the Naito, but for himself; His name and dignity … was to be protected no matter the cost. It was fine when no one acknowledged him at all but to do so with utter distaste and discourtesy was … inexcusable. I'll have to thank Tsukiko-sensei for helping me realize that. Though, if incredibly persistent, he wouldn't stop him. Instead, Daiki leaned up against the wall of the door and crossed his arms. He had decided that he'd take no money from Miyaka. He was a loyal dog, or so the saying went, but loyalty was earned not bought. Another mission so soon and instead of dreading it, he was actually excited. A dream … one that revealed itself in the midst of overwhelming power drove him now. It was … exhilarating. He adjusted his back-pack on his shoulders once they got to the gates. “Awesome. I worked with Yamato-sama once before already. It'll be great to learn from the three of you. I guess I'm just crazy lucky.” While Haruka pulled his phone out to text Yamato and Gin, Giichi couldn't help but inwardly cringe at the sight of the flip-phone. He couldn't remember the last time he saw someone with a phone like that but he guessed to each their own. Either way, he was crazy excited. He trailed over to Haruka, his orange jacket being pulled by a wayward wind. “So, what's the mission?” he asked, his voice reaching the final stages of puberty. “C, B, or A rank? I've been getting pretty good missions lately. Probably because I'm a Uzumaki.” He said that last part casually.
