Certainly not shitting all over free, Aragorn. I just have never been able to RP like that. Back on ye olde forum I started RPing on back in 2001, I always tried to write paragraphs even though most of my "ideas" were blatant rip offs of movies and games and what have you. The plots were generally made up as you go, no sheets or GMs, and because it was a tight community we never had problems or real standards. I didn't even realize anywhere actually organized RPs like this site does. One thing I do miss from that site was how since it was a fan forum for a game, all the RPs typically were in a persistent world. It was pretty neat. I personally need a few paragraphs per posts to feel like I'm actually contributing anything meaningful and conversations are usually collaborated. Like idle said, I go at it like collaborative story telling verses a game. I like to leave something I can go back and read and have others enjoy my writing. I Doveinto casual on this site first thing to figure out where I fit in best. I was actually pretty surprised my posts started to dwarf a lot of other players. I hadn't RPed in like 6 years, and I never did creative writing. I thought I'd be way behind most people. A major reason I got out of RPing on the old site was because everyone went from writing paragraphs a few times a night to constantly doing onr liners like a chat room. Unless I was online for the wholeevening, I ccouldn't keep up. When you literally have over 100 posts to catch up on a night, you aren't going to last.
