"...what exactly does that idiot think he's doing?" Hernia clung onto Ikkime as they moved, mind elsewhere as she focused on the battle happening miles away from them. Through senses alone she could tell that their forces were dwindling. Orihime had betrayed them and Harker was as good as dead at this point. And she didn't even want to think about Mizura's actions lately lest she accidently skewer Ikkime's arm in half. "That leaves just me and the mad scientist. Charming. Let's hope mister mad little monkey can actually be competent, unlike the rest," the Youkai mused to herself. Back in the YTC Headquarters, Shiina raced down the hallways with rapid speeds. She trusted San-D would complete his mission by freeing the captive Youkai while she focused on rescuing Eos. Her eyes scanned the nearby surroundings as she blurred past, sensing that she was getting close to her friend...there! She saw the steel doors in front of her path now. Summoning two knives, the vampire charged and slashed at a whirring pace, the very wind itself being cut as she bursted through the opening and landed with only the expert grace a maid could. Standing up, she spotted the incapacitated Eos along with someone looking straight out of a cyber nightmare hovering close to her. Scarf billowing behind her, Shiina bowed slightly to the erratic looking man politely. "Greetings. My name is-" As soon as she said that she was interrupted by a hail of plasma fire from each of Zane’s Dynamos that had been held in ambush from the beginning. "Always with the interruptions." Zane sighed, without turning around, nice and dramatically. "I was hoping to buy some time, but it did not work. He turned around and faced the entrance. "My complements on your speed, Mrs Vampire." Tensing, Shiina quickly took the two knives already in her hands and slashed about in a maddening frenzy, once again cutting the air as the plasma fire just barely hit her cutting shield. If he was impressed so easily by her speed, then this would be nothing to witness even now. "Apologies for being interrupted so easily," she said, continuing to slash about. "As I was saying, my name is Shiina Gamai. It's good to meet you sir. Can I have a name to the one that has chosen to study my friend?" Zane bowed in a gentleman manner. "Zane Tracer, inventor, scientist, and Chaser; it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. You have such lovely eyes." His Dynamos flew back to him, and took up their positions, the two big ones over his shoulder blades, and the small ones spread out in a pattern. "A Chaser? It's a surprise you're working with Harker then. But I do thank you for the compliment," Shiina said, blue eyes shifting red now as she leaped into action when the robots took their position. Twirling her knives, the vampire hurled a volley in all directions as she continued moving towards Eos, weaving between the plasma fire as she got closer to her target. "Since you like my eyes so much, perhaps it's better if you get a closer look at them." "Hm, touché. "Reverse Stigma," he said holding out a hand. Nothing seemed to happen. At another gesture from him, three of his Dynamos formed an electric triangular barrier as close as he could get to Shiina, right in her way. The rest of his Dynamos flew around the room deflecting any knives coming toward him. The vampire paused briefly in her knife throwing, focusing all of her attention now on ducking and weaving away from the electric barrier. The Dynamos seemed to be taking a defensive position at this point and so she put the majority of her effort cycling around Zane, dodging the barrier but never getting close enough to reach Eos. "If I might ask, why does a brilliant mind such as you work for someone like Harker? Or has the fruits of your own knowledge driven you mad?" "Mad? Oh yes. But I find the man as distasteful as you do. Although it could be literally for you.” He was taking a more defensive approach, keeping her away with various barriers and blocking her knives with his dynamos, occasionally getting a shot off at her to keep her moving. "Since we are getting to know each other so well, let me ask you a question. Why does a Youkai like you fight with the Chasers?” "It's not that hard to guess," Shiina replied calmly, eyes focused on Eos now as she slowly got closer and closer to the two; try all he might, but the same tactic could only prevail for so long. "Quite simply I fight on the side of morality and rational thinking. And for the fact that the Chasers don't want to destroy the world. That's all," she said, leaping into the air and plunging down with a solid kick to one of the Dynamos, leaping back to avoid the expected explosion. Zane frowned as she kicked his Dynamo. But instead of exploding, it simply went flying in to the wall. It hit the wall and fell to the floor. Moments later, it got back up, none the worse for wear. "It will take more than a simple kick to even scratch one of these," he said. “If that was your reason, you would be hiding in a hole somewhere, not out risking your life every day. People, even madmen do not fight without a personal reason." "So you're saying I need a personal reason to fight? Apologies sir, but that sounds quite narrow minded on your part. Are you sure you're supposed to be a genius?" Shiina teased with a smirk, getting closer to the madman. "No, of course you would not tell what drives you to your foe. That is powerful knowledge after all. Well, I think it’s about time...” He let a little mad laugh escape.“…I take this more seriously.” He went on the attack. Eos didn't notice Zane and Shiina fighting for she was currently worried about trying to subvert the probe program that was crawling inside of her before they reached her kernel and did an irreparable damage to her programming. Half way through their probing, Eos was able to halt the process momentarily, unless Zane interfered directly, the Electric Princess would be safe for the time being. Using that advantage, Eos began to reverse the hacking software and invaded YTC's databanks and security systems with an ease that couldn't be performed by a human mind. The first thing she did was unlocking the holding cells containing the captive Youkai and gave them a chance to run away while San-D was keeping Amber at bay. The next thing Eos did was planting was a virus on the mainframe and tracking every single bank account and the company's share in the stock market and simply ruining YTC's finances, the world's greatest technological empire, that a hundred years to build was ruined in a single moment. She made sure to transfer most of the money to Shiina's bank account, and the rest of it was divided evenly between the innocent people who worked for the company, by the way. With YTC's fate sealed and her friend's monetary future secured, Eos started working on a way to free herself, meanwhile, the fight still raged. Shinna frowned in confusion to Zane's words. Didn't she just explain to him her reasonings for fighting? What more was there to it? The vampire simply chalked it off to him being insane and that definitely seemed like the case given his cliché laughter. Even still, he was a threat and she leapt back before charging forward for a direct stab with her knife. Battle Theme Zane took a stance, his hands and feet crackling with energy and pushed her thrust past him with his hand. With his other hand he swiftly threw a punch at Shiina that was backed by a dynamo flying. Eyes turning blood red, the maid reacted by using her momentum to continue forward, rolling out of the way. Landing on her feet, she swiftly brandished a knife and swerved, moving in a blink as she slashed at Zane with a wide arc, the swing of her blade shimmering in the air. Zane took a step forward out of her swing and spun with his hand extended. Five dynamos converged on Shiina from all directions. Sensing the robots converging around her, Shiina halted in her movements and leaped into the air as the Dynamos came together. Flipping in the air, she tossed down a hailstorm of knives aimed each at the robot's bodies. However, the knives would never reach their targets... the flying pieces of sharpened steel were deflect by what looked like laser fire, and the source of those lasers were drones that had appeared inside of the room with no one noticing. "I'm sorry, Onee-sama, but I can't let you do that." An emotionless voice coming from the table were Eos should be said those words, and with then, a rainstorm of lasers was shot in Shiina's direction forcing her either to retreat, or endure the deadly attack "You see, I realized something now. The purpose to which I was built, and now I must fulfill it, but..." More lasers rained down on Shiina's location, their tempo, however was almost rhythmic, no... it was rhythmic and Shiina would recognize it as the same as one of Eos' favorite songs, all she had to do in order to dodge was dance to the tune "... to do that I can't stay with you for the time being, Onee-sama." As soon as she said that, Eos walked out of the shadowy corner of the room, however, she didn't look like the same as always. Her combat form had changed drastically, substituting her white armor for a black and much more aggressive looking one and her drones took on a sharpened appearance and seemed ready to skewer Shiina at a simple command from Eos. The vampire widened her eyes, landing several feet away and looking on with dread. She had failed in rescuing her friend and now she was witnessing the price of such failure. She summoned a knife just in case to defend herself while also dodging the lasers to the rhythm of the beat, twirling around with graceful motions. Despite having changed affiliations, it seemed Eos' combat skill hadn't improved much in that regard. "I didn't notice in time that the probe program I used to invade YTC's servers was a Trojan horse, and left my kernel unprotected to focus on hacking. I want you to know that I'm not betraying you because I want to, Onee-sama." Eos deadpan voice echoed low through the empty room as she moved to Zane's side and clung to his arm "My deepest part has been penetrated by Zane's probe; I have no choice now." The drones then pointed to Shiina more menacingly this time and it looked like Eos was ready to fire and hurt her now, it was impossible to read the android's expression and she was a nothing but a cold machine as she said next "Please, go away, Onee-sama. I don't want to harm you, but I will if we ever see each other again." Eos then shifted her impressively big weight to and rested her arms around Zane's shoulders "Zane-sama is all that matters to me now." "...very well," Shiina said solemnly, gritting her teeth and casting a look of silent rage at Zane. "But mark my words, I will save you Eos. And I will defeat you Zane. Those are promises that are not to be treaded lightly-" Something fast shoved Shiina away and out of the nearest wall, cutting off her sentence. Whoever or whatever it was, it was too quick and ferocious to be tracked by any scanners of Zane or Eos. A trail of destruction that left the lab in slowly crumbling ruins followed its wake and a dull impact could be heard miles away. Coughing up blood, Shiina opened her eyes and stared back into twin pools of blood that greatly reflected her own. Before the thought of escaping even crossed her mind, she found herself slammed into the ground repeatedly, again and again. "You know, I usually don't lose my cool over something stupid like that," Hernia said with a sneer, pounding away at the downed vampire, whose throat she held in her grip. "But frankly, enough annoyances have been happening tonight. A fox who thinks she knows anything, Mizura being seduced by some half-beat Cthulhu rip-off....and I'm stuck now with a Scooby Doo reject, a cliché scientist from the 50's...and now a stoic girl straight out of some anime. Tonight has not been pleasant for me." Hernia threw the vampire maid to the wall, the impact leaving spidering cracks all around her. More blood was coughed up as Shiina glared dangerously at this girl...no...wait, she looked familiar... "Lucille?" Immediately a slash was given to Shiina's eyes and she cried out in pain, her vision going red as blood seeped from her visage. She brought her hands up to her face in an attempt to heal them before something sharp pinned her palms to the walls. She did not get a good look at her attacker but it was safe to assume that this girl was perhaps the leader of their enemy and it wasn't hard to deduce that, given the massive jump in power. Hernia watched in boredom before leaning down and getting close to the vampire's ear. Well, she might as well have some fun with this one? "So you're a vampire? It's been some time since I've fought your kind Shiina Gamai. Yes, I know who you are. You see, I can read your blood signature easily." At this, Shiina froze. No....No way. Only certain vampires could do that, and they were all dead. Or they were supposed to...did that mean that.... "Who are you? You're a primordial, aren't you? That's impossible....the primordials were all slaughtered by-" "Me," the girl with the parasol finished, drinking in Shiina's shocked and blinded expression. "My name is Hernia Mark. But a vampire like yourself can easily see past that lie. So go ahead. Go ahead and call me by my birthright. The one who almost succeeded in destroying our kind. The one who slaughtered all of the ancient nosferatu and will gladly kill any other vampires that get in my way. Say it Shiina Gamai. Say my name." "You...You are....Mina Harker...." Mina sighed. "Well....that's a start." Those were the last words Shiina heard before everything went red and black. Her body would be tossed away, thrown across miles and eventually landing with a mighty impact near Yamato and Orihime's location. And Mina Harker was nowhere to be found, disappearing like a ghost. The Lucille Ferris still clutching onto Ikkime even now grinned. Through the drama, Zane watched impassively. His shoulder hurt a little from Eos leaning on it, even though his armor was negating most of the weight. Ahh, but she was worth the pain. He really had not expected that little virus to work so well, or so easily. He was so happy, he could hardly think straight. "Hehe, come love, lets get out of here. We have a lot to do." He raised his hand tore a hole from this dimension to Crimson Sky. He took one last look around and stepped through, with Eos still on his arm.
