The laws of reality just don't change as you go through the universe. That would be utterly absurd, no offence. Einstein's equivalence principle states that the laws of Physics are the same everywhere in the Universe. 

"The outcome of any local non-gravitational experiment in a freely falling laboratory is independent of the velocity of the laboratory and its location in spacetime."

Note how it says "location in spacetime". Anything dealing with physics that doesn't rely on gravity will have the exact same outcome regardless of where and when it is done.
