I had a horrible scenario.

Eve's Typhogenesis first being triggered around Reggie, who, being human, would begin to suffocate. Eve begins to panic because she has no idea what's happening to him or how to help, and begins to break down when she realises that she can only generate smoke and not manipulate it, meaning she has no idea how to get rid of it and if she can get him out of it in time. After that point she is terrified of it happening again and refuses to hone that ability in fear of hurting other humans, and more importantly, Reggie, again.[/s]
