The Justice League bailed the team out of their fight with Lobo. I'm not planning on having them or any other team become a reoccurring deus ex machina to resolve every situation.

At fifteen with no real previous hero experience, I can't see the team electing him to give them orders. Especially not with the likes of Sentinel and Rufus who both opted not even to wait for the rest of the team.
