Sam just finished his text and send it to Ashlinn. He watched as she picked up her phone. He smiled as she read it, then looked his way and nodded. He got back to his homework while making a happy dance in his mind. He would finally show her the world he created for them, and them alone. A few minutes later, he noticed Ashlinn suddenly standing next to him, and tapping on his desk. He didn't hear the schoolbell again, but he wanted to finish his homework quickly so he wouldn't have to do it at home. He didn't get the chance though, as Ashlinn closed the book in front of him. He looked disturbed at her, but secretly couldn't contain himself any longer either. They walked together from their school to Sam's house. It wasn't far at all, so it wouldn't take long before they got there. Sam was so hyped for the game they would play that he didn't hear anything Ashlinn would've said, if she said something to begin with. However, when they finally arived, he opened the door for her, and as they walked inside, he noticed that no one else was home, meaning that his parents were out for the day like they planned to. They had the whole house for themselves. He had the laptops already plugged in into the TV, so he had a split screen showing what they would see when they put on their helmets. The laptops would only carry a part of the game's processing, the most would be done by the helmets. "Well..." Sam started nervously. "This is it. I already implemented the details you gave me earlier for your character, so they should be ready to go. Take a seat." He said, while sitting down on the couch. He meanwhile put on his helmet and laid down. "Don't be afraid. The diving function is working beyond expectations. It's the first time I'm using it on my own game though." Sam then pressed a button on the helmet, wich then started beeping. A few beeps later, Sam was out of this world...
