[@Loony][s]Reggie and Eve have been trapped by a landslide in an enclosed space with few openings for air to get in or out. Eve, in her panic begins to emit smoke, causing Reggie to cough. Upon Eve's inquiry about what's wrong with him, he lies and says that he's fine not wanting to panic Eve any further. He then brings her in for a hug in an effort to calm her down, even though it brings him closer to the source. Eventually she stops, but the smoke is slow to leave, and Reggie continues to cough and suffocate, yet never stops hugging Eve, though now it's to comfort both of them. In time, who knows how long, Aquamarine and the other Crystal Gems find them by the smoke Eve let out and dig the group out. Eve, turns around to Reggie to tell him that they're saved, but Reggie doesn't move. He's silent, and she suddenly realized that his body isn't doing that weird thing where his chest keeps moving up and down. She remembered feeling it stop a little while ago, but she didn't think anything off it at the time. She turns to aquamarine, pleading her to heal Reggie, but the gem knows that it's too late. Reggie is gone, and yet, even in death, he always keeps a smile on his face.[/s]

On the Lighter side of the Altiverse:

At first, Reggie's afraid that he's pushed the envelope and is about to feel Eve's vengeance, her making that face makes him want to crawl under a rock. But then she get's all sweet and sappy on him, and while he apperciates it, he can't help but give a laugh of mock indignation at her comparison.

"Don't compare my goofiness with that big orange lug. He merely adopted the goofiness, I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't have a serious thought in my head until I was already a man." *Que overly dramatic evil laugh as he stands up and puts Eve on his shoulders* "Now onward to iHOP- wait, I'm baned from the- I mean, onwards to that fish place with the really good salmon."
